Allowing Editor to Access more things??

However I was hoping for some sort of solution or guide that would show me how to do it by hand. Any info on that? (BTW the codex doesn’t really help in this area…at least not me).

Whilst it is (in theory) possible to do this for a specific user via your theme’s functions.php file, it wouldn’t be easy. The only documentation I can suggest is Roles_and_Capabilities.

Ok so I would use my functions file to do things like:

$role = get_role('editor');
$role->add_cap('edit_theme_options');
?>

My main problem was that people weren’t telling me WHERE to place this stuff. So if this is where it’s all supposed to go, then GREAT!!!!!
