Allowing specific role to edit a custom post based on user_email

    Hi,

    I created a Table based CPT Pod (applicants) and the custom posts are added thru a custom form that is only available for the subscriber role. What I need is that to have the custom post be edited by users who submitted the custom post. Each custom post have user_email as one of the fields. What can you advice for me to achieve that functionality.

    PS:
    I’m using Members plugin to extend the roles and capabilities functionality.

    Hello @king_slick

    I believe this is possible with the capabilities you can create for this post type.
    You should disable the edit_others_applicants for the subscriber role. Providing you’ve enabled the custom capabilities and set the name to applicants. See the Pod settings.
