Almost Perfect !

  • For a forum plugin to be under 40kb (in zipped form), is unheard of. Super easy to setup, responsive (very important nowadays), great looking and well thought design (CSS Style), and allows only logged in users to post (nice!).

    The only thing missing is sending out emails. If sending out emails is added, and the size is kept reasonable, under app. 80-100kb, then for sure it will unseat BBpress, although it probably already has done so in my opinion, considering BBpress is more than 10X bigger in size.

  • Not to mention, half the time BBPress doesn’t work anyway. And rarely gets updated. And it’s more bloated. Asgaros is perfect in it’s simplicity and I really hope development continues for a long, long time. Finally, someone has done a forum plugin the right way!
