• Hi, very usefuln thanks a lot!
But please allow me a little request:
It would be nice to have the ability to manually set the left and right external padding of the row, so that we could align everything properly with other rows.
Using the same values as gaps would be the solution.
Another reason is that with your plugin, text on external columns sticks to the left and right edges, which is sometimes really annoying because you have to manually change padding of the section or columns, or use only internal sections inside a normal section to set a global padding.
    Thx again, mate!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the feedback!

The plugin uses the same values as defined for each Columns Gap. So when this fix mode is enabled, your content would aligned exactly as the container width.

The problem with text sticks to the left and right edges is because you don’t set outer section’s left and right padding ??

    Cheers!

You’re right, but if I activate the fix, then I have to add padding to ALL my existing sections because every row will stick to the edges.

I guess if I really need alignment, I’ll use it and adapt sections, and if not, I’ll stick to Elementor’s philosophy, which is not so bad in some other scenarios ??

Actually I like this kind of indentation sometimes to break lines on the page.

Anyway, weldone for this fix, and I agree with others that it should be native!!!

Yes, that’s the drawback if you use this fix mode on outer section. You have to set left and right padding. Otherwise your content and text will sticks to the edges when on mobile devices. On the opposite, this fix mode comes really handy on inner sections.

As your request earlier, after enabling this fix mode, you want the ability to set left and right padding of the row manually. Instead of adding new option for row padding in this plugin, I suggested that you can use the actual section padding, which practically works the same ??

Look at the default Elementor columns gap behavior:

Try to create 3 sections with different Columns Gap.

    – section 1 with columns gap “default”
    – section 2 with columns gap “wider”.
    – section 3 with columns gap “no gap”.

Without the fix, you would get inconsistent side padding on mobile devices (you can try it). That’s why I think the best solution is enabling this fix mode, and then set the section’s left and right padding. This provides consistent padding regardless whatever columns gap you are using on many different sections.

That’s just my preference though. You can choose which workflow that works best for you.

    Thanks for the feedback ??

Wow, I hadn’t noticed that the fix also corrected the different paddings on mobile!

This is awesome, and yes you’re very right, having this option with manual section padding is actually very flexible. Much more than my previous workflow where I had to set mobile paddings manually anyway ??

I wish there was some kind of “magical page content padding” option in Elementor that would add some padding to all content (actually to a content wrapper in all sections) to prevent edges sticking text in all situations!
