• Doesn’t have Codemirror, that is a big downside.
Doesn’t have PHP support, that is another downside.

Once those two things are supported, or at least just add Codemirror, then this will be the perfect plugin and I would use it, but without Codemirror, editing code sucks, even for the smallest changes.

Hello @sowhoyou – This plugin was developed mainly for adding tracking snippets and codes that are usually third-party services or JS Snippets that enhance/add to the performance of the site, and do not require any code editing or debugging of any kind – Thereby eliminating the PHP support & Codemirror dependency.

Well see this was just my review of the plugin.
Glad to see the plugin has no plans to improve.
Thanks for your feedback, I’ll uninstall asap.

We respect your opinion @sowhoyou – Improvement does not mean following your exact suggestions. We have a systematic and prioritized list of updates for the plugin. While CodeMirror and PHP support are surely considerations for the future, we have to make sure that they fall into the roadmap of the Header Footer Code Manager, but they are certainly not at the top of the priority list.

Do you have a public road map, a trello by chance? Would love to see what’s to come.

Hello @sowhoyou – We use Asana! – We cannot share the Asana project with you as it is not public and contains important information about our premium plugins. However, here is a list of the most immediate/high priority tasks. If you have any other suggestions, please let us know and we will surely add it to our future tasks.

      Priority Updates

    1. Add Code snippets to AFTER <body> tag
    2. Ability to Import & Export snippets
    3. Assign Order Priority to Snippets
    4. Add Code Editor ( – 3/5 users have requested )
      Possible Updates

    • Add PHP Code Snippets – (Thorough revision of security updates – Compatibility with WordFence & iThemes Security)

However, this is a good suggestion, we will create a public Trello or Asana with the Roadmap for the users to see, and comment on.
