Almost perfect, but there's a really annoying bug

  • I’ve been testing this plugin for a few weeks now (well mostly I was waiting to see if it did get the pictures into Google’s rich-snippets, which Google’s bots finally did pick up today). It’s great and generally works very well. BUT…

    There’s a bug in which sometimes all of the recipe ingredients and steps get duplicated. I *think* (90% sure) it happens when a recipe is previewed from the “add new” recipe section.

    It could be a minor annoyance and a negligible bug, but it’s upgraded to a major one because the way this plugin works, every time you delete a step or an ingredient the screen refreshes (instead of a little tickbox/bulk action system or something), and I ended up finding it faster and cleaner to delete and re-enter a 13 ingredient, 5 step recipe which got quadrupled than it was to fix it.

    Thank you very much for your donation and support! It really does mean a lot to us.

    We have seen a very small number of people have the duplication issue – and despite lots of testing we have been unable to replicate it.

    I will e-mail you now to discuss troubleshooting this.

    Hi Anne,

    We have fixed this and it will be in the next update.

    To avoid the duplicate problem, press ‘save’ before pressing ‘preview changes’.
