• Desperately needs to support ALBUMS. I want to sell only albums and not individual tracks. All of the information is pulled from the ID3 tag but not used for displaying albums. To sell more than a single track this plugin uses “collections” and requires additional work to create. With a large collection, it is just not worth the effort in my opinion. Most of what this plugin does can be done with Woocommerce. I wanted a simple way to display a complete artist list, with their associated albums. It would also be nice to display a list of genres with the associated albums and artists.

    Hello @okcvet

Thank you so much for the review.

Yes, you are in the right direction. The albums in our plugin are managed through collections. You should create the songs products first, and then group them into a collection product (https://demos.dwbooster.com/music-store/?ms_collection=first-collection&_msr=1642872533). This option allows you to sell the songs by separated and as part of a collection. If you don’t want to sell the songs by separated, you should untick the “Sell as a single” in the product’s settings.

Unfortunately, the current version of the plugin does not offer another alternative. However, I guess it would be interesting modify the importer section (https://musicstore.dwbooster.com/documentation#importing-module) to allow generating collections products dynamically with every song whose album match.

I included this request in the plugin roadmap.

    Best regards.
