Alo Integration with Mandrill

  • Hi Everyone,

    I run a smallish site for a non-profit org that sends out a Newsletter a couple of times a week. I was using Alo Newsletter in conjunction with my dreamhost smtp (via WP SMTP plugin) and it was working fine. I could send the newsletters, I would get confirmation that the mails were sent on the Newsletter reports, etc, etc.

    The problem is we were sending out too many emails and I was going over the quota on my dreamhost account.

    So we decided to start using Mailchimp’s Mandril. We got an account and configured it, and everything seems to work fine, except the newsletter reports.

    The newsletter report shows that 100% of the sends are failures (which is actually not true, because the mails are being sent)

    My question is, is there any “trick” to make Alo Newsletter “see” that the emails are being sent?

    I run WP4.4 and latest versions of all plugins,

  • I’m not 100% sure, but maybe you can check Newsletter -> Settings -> Bounces

    And make sure you’ve updated those settings accordingly.
