Alone image lightbox.

  • I think that WordPress should add the lightbox feature to the picture alone where the readers can click on the image for the image to enlarge in a lightbox which is available in the WordPress galery but not itself? I think there should be a feature where we should have lightbox or features from the gallery for the image alone (non-gallery) especially the lightbox. I don’t want the image to go to another page (attachment page or others) as I would like the alone picture (non-gallery) to have lightbox.

    Hopefully this make sense as I am having a bit difficult to explain but bottom line is that there should be lightbox for the image alone too instead of only in gallery.

    It makes perfect sense.

    The thing to remember, too, is that not everybody likes that effect or that method. Themes and plugins can change that behaviour and that’s the beauty of it! I know there are tons of plugins that can handle single images as well as galleries.

    You can use the Profit Builder by Sean Donahe to make Lightbox in each image on the gallery.
