    Thanks for this code on the link but there’s an error in it. The only way to get it to work is to delete line 19 from the code you provided.

    Thanks for the idea of a core functionality plugin. I created one for this code and it’s working great. I simply added lines 4-18 in the link you provided (do not include lines 1-3 or line 19).

    Thanks for this – I have used it on a few sites and it was working great. But, does this still work with the most current version of WP? I have tried to add the code to my functions.php and the subpages are still in a weird order.
