Alpine JS or Interactivity API with Tailwind CSS. Which one to choose?

I’m starting a new project and I’m having trouble deciding between using Alpine JS or the Interactivity API with Tailwind CSS.

As I understand, Alpine JS might make implementing animations easier, but the Interactivity APl is the official solution.

Is there easy way to use animation with Interactivity APl like Alpine JS?
