Hi, hope you can help please?

Already existing taxonomies are not showing under the post editor to select, they’re just showing ‘0’ when you select ‘choose from the most used’.

Why is this please? I cannot see any errors…

    Thanks

Hard to say what may be going on, as I’m not sure I’ve ever seen that behavior.

Are you able to provide a screenshot so that I could at least visually see what’s going on?

    Hmm

Do you have any potential odd term names?

Not sure there’s anything there in this metabox that CPTUI itself influences, so the issue feels like it’s coming from WordPress core more than anything.

Nothing out of the ordinary, it is doing it for all of the taxonomies for my ‘custom post’ type. Could it be a post type issue? As normal standard ‘posts’ are ok?

Feels more like a REST API issue than anything specific to the content types, as it’s that part of the core codebase that would be populating the “most used” spot.

Can you reach out via https://pluginize.com/contact/ and in your message, include this link so we know what forum thread the message is for? https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/already-existing-taxonomies-are-not-showing-under-the-post-editor-to-select/

I’d like to take some correspondence private and away from the public forum.

The issue seems to have come from the slugs for the taxonomies being capitalized for the first letter, eg “Services”. Once we converted the taxonomy in question to lowercase, things started working appropriately.
