    Hi Oguz,

    hope you′re doing good.

    I started a new thread, like you′ve said. I am new to all this, so i hope i do it right. Guess i have to put previous conversations in blockquotes. ??

    Hi,

    i was loving Hustle, but now i have the same problems as fkoomek.

    Every NEW E-mail i enter gets the message “This email address has already subscribed”. It has surely nothing to do with mailchimps database, as i know the mails i entered are fresh gmail accounts. And were never on my mailchimp list.

    Btw, the PopUp i′ve created didn′t work either. Bu i guess, this is for another thread.

    You can check the embed by yourself if you will, here on the sidebar:

    Best Regards

    Hey @chuckruhsonic,

    Hope you’re well.

    I don’t think this is the same problem. The thread is related to try same email address the second time. But your issue is adding email addresses the first time. Also, according to www.ads-software.com forum guides, you need to create a new thread;

    Unless users have the exact same version of WordPress on the same physical server hosted by the same hosts with the same plugins, theme, and configurations, then the odds are the solution for one user will not be the same for another. For this reason, we recommend people start their own topics.

    (https://make.www.ads-software.com/support/handbook/forum-welcome/#post-in-the-best-place)

    I can see the problem on your site but I can’t replicate it on my test site. So can you check API credentials of MailChimp and you choose the correct list? If everything is correct, can you try plugin and theme conflict tests? For conflict test, you should deactivate all plugins and activate twenty seventeen theme, then try only with Hustle plugin.

    If the problem continues please let us know the results on a new thread.

    Cheers,
    Oguz

    Hi Oguz,

    thanks for the reply.

    1. THE API credentials of MailChimp are correct.
    2. The mailchimp list ID is correct and i have only one list so far.
    3. Even after the conflict test, i get the same error.

    `newsletter_error

    So, no matter what, i get allways the “allready subscribed” error.

    Best Regards

    Your latest questions were:

    Are you using the latest version of Hustle?
    I use Version 6.0.3. I update as soon i get noticed by wordpress. So it should be the latest version.

    Also, did you make any customization on manage form elements settings?
    No. In the Settings i can only see “DON’T SHOW MODULES TO” and the sliders are still OFF.

    If above not help, can you deactivate MailChimp integration and try with the local list?
    I did so and it seems ok in the Front End, but i don′t know where to find the local list to check, if the new user is in the list. I looked for it in the Hustle Dashboard and WP Feedback.
    Is it somewhere else?

    Thanks and Best Regards

    Hey @chuckruhsonic,

    Hope you’re well.

    For the local list, when someone subscribes it should show the list at the Embeds Dashboard like this;

    I didn’t understand your second answer. While editing your embed, at the Content tab there is a section which name is Manage form elements, did you make any changes there?

    By the way, is MailChimp integration deactivated? I got success message now.

    Cheers,
    Oguz

    Hi Oguz,

    thanks again for your help.

    1. OK, i′ve found the local list. The local list includes my test mails. Seems all good. Thank you.

    2. I was looking somewhere else. That′s why my second answer confused you. Sorry for that. Thanks for the screenshots. Now i understand where to find it.

    To answer your question. No. I didn′t make any changes to “Manage form elements”. Not that i am aware of.

    Here are my Screenshots.

    3. Yes, the MailChimp integration was deactivated. So you can see the changes for yourself. But i activated the integration now and i get the “already subscribed” message again. I leave it activated, if you want to test it.

    Thanks again. Have a nice day, Oguz.

    Hey @chuckruhsonic,

    Hope you’re well.

    At the Hustle > Embeds page is there “View Error Log” button, near the “View Email List”? If not can you activate WordPress debug logging? You need to edit wp-config.php file and place these codes;

    /* Debug Settings */
    define('WP_DEBUG', true);
    define('WP_DEBUG_LOG', true);
    define('WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false);
    /* End of Debug Settings */

    Then try to subscribe again. Don’t try with the already tried email addresses, or clear local list and check MailChimp list to be sure nothing saved then try again. And be sure double opt-in is not enabled.

    After retry and see the problem, check wp-content folder of your website files, is there debug.log file? If yes please let us know the content of that file.

    Cheers,
    Oguz

    Hi Oguz,

    1. There is no “View Error Log” button, near the “View Email List”. ??

    2. I′ve downloaded wp-config.php via FTP and placed your code at the end, saved it, uploaded again and overwritten the original. (I still have a copy of the original wp-config.php). But, i don′t get any debug.log file in the wp-content folder.

    3. In “Email collection module” i checked the MailChimp API again. I noticed that “Automatically opt-in new yousers to the mailing list” was set to OFF. Don′t know why.
    I copy pasted the API Key again, fetched the List again, set “Automatically opt-in new yousers to the mailing list” to ON. And now it seems to work. ??

    Don′t know what happened there, but it seems to working right now. I get a succes message and the new mails are in the list.

    Thanks a lot Oguz for taking time, quick responses and such a great and friendly support.

    Have a nice day.
    Best Regards
