(Also) Can’t insert custom header

  • the “Select Template” feature under style=Customer Header is not available.

    juju1532 (@juju1532) had the same issue “1 year, 10 months ago” and solutions were offered. solutions were reviewed but like juju1532 issue, my issue is unresolved.
    aside from the obvious question — how did a 6 page website with 7 benign plugins fry (for which i assumed be a 10 min fix and 2 hours later i smoked 5 cigarettes and can’t get anywhere), how does the “Select Template” feature disappear when Customer Header is selected (customize>header>general>style)? i have ocean extra plugin; everything is updated. under Theme panel i looked at Scripts & Styles and all that. nothing was, or had been, disabled.
    i have second, complex website in oceanwp and i see the “Select Template” feature. it’s in-use and functioning properly.

  • Hello,

    The Ocean Extra plugin needs to be installed in order to be able to use the select template option and select templates created in Theme Panel > My Library.

    If that is already the case, then that particular page where the Customizer is open has already a custom Header set via individual page settings and then the Select Template option will not be shown.

    Instead, you should navigate to a different page that’s using the global (Customizer) Header settings and the Select Template option will be displayed.
