    Looks like it was about an hour after I installed the most recent update to Awesome Support plugin, v6.0.0, that a critical error occurred. (I had already gone to bed, and only discovered that my site was down about noon the next day.)

    Here is what the website was able to email me regarding this critical error:

    – – – – –
    WordPress version 5.4.1
    Current theme: Divi (version 4.4.7)
    Current plugin: Awesome Support (version 6.0.0)
    PHP version 7.3.18

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 424 of the file …staging-oakleystudio-com/public/wp-content/plugins/awesome-support/awesome-support.php. Error message: require(): Failed opening required ‘/srv/users/oakleystudio/apps/staging-oakleystudio-com/public/wp-content/plugins/awesome-support/includes/functions-ticket-type.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/sp/php7.3/lib/php’)

    This is the error from my Staging/Dev site. Same error was also reported on my Live site. I was able to restore both sites from yesterday’s backups, after removing the failed plugin via command line.
