Alt & Text

  • Hi all

    I’m running the latest word press with all my plugins updated.

    when viewing the gallery you can see the text about each image, but lately when viewing images from a post you don’t see the text info

    Site is here, click on one of the first images on the 1st post and you will see the image but no text, then click on of the images from the gallery on your right you will see image and text

    Any idea to why it’s not showing, I’ve looked and looked, and I’m at a lost.

    You are using WordPress 2.7
    NextGEN Gallery 1.0.2

    Site maybe slow, due to using all my bandwidth up, LOL

  • It looks like the images that have text have alt and title tags, the ones that have no text are missing alt and title tags.

    I’m not sure which tags thickbox is using for the description, but you could add different text to the title and caption of one of your images to find out.

    Thank you I’ll try that

    I was thinking may be I need to edit the images first under the manage gallery, then add the images to my post.

    It worked well, I have to edit the gallery images first before placing them into a post.
