Hey guys! I’ve just updated to WordPress 5.0.2. and also Yoast’s last version.

When I checked if everything was ok, I noticed Yoast metabox warning me there’s no image alt attribute. But I ensure you that warning didn’t exist before the updates and furthermore I carefully inserted keywords and alt attributed one by one.

Anyway in order to help you, at the moment I’m using Divi and its builder has a specific metabox where to put alt & title attributes for any image and the alt attributes shows in HTML source code.

So what’s wrong with it? Please, help me.

    Hi @davidecorizzo,

The Yoast plugin might not be able to properly analyze content that is added outside of the default WordPress editor (classic or Gutenberg). This means that the problem could be that the plugin is not able to properly “read” the Divi metabox used to add the alt & title attributes for images.

However, this does not mean that search engines are not able to read the alt text in images. If the alt text is available in the source code, then search engines can read it and the Yoast warning can be ignored.
