Alt attribute for featured image

If you want to add alt attribute to image you can install a Automatic image ALT attributes plugin for that.

I installed the plugin but I have no result.
On my homepage I still have 2 images with an ALT attribute empty or absent while all my fields are filled.

For now plugins is the only way.

We will add the alt attributes to the images in next theme update.
