Is it possible that alt image tags are made available or utilized with the selected image from the media area?

When I attempt to validate/scan my site for errors/warnings I continue to get them via the images used by the team-members plugin due to no alt image descriptions.

    Hi there,

It’s not possible unfortunately, there is no alt attribute because the photos of the team members are not images (I mean not HTML images), they are used as a background for a photo container instead, therefore there’s nowhere to add an alt attribute.

I hope this makes sense, I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused.

Any chance of reconsidering this? No Alt Tag is bad accessibility, poor SEO and generally bad practice.

I have purchased the pro version for a client website whose visitors are vision impaired and use screen readers to interpret the website.

Hence they require the alt tags.

You mention the image used as the background, however the image still appears within the code of the website which triggers accessibility / validation errors.

If you have no intention of adding alt tags, I will be requiring a refund for your product. Disappointing because it is perfect otherwise. But this is a show stopper for me.

The images are there for preloading, but the one that show are background images. We are planning on using the complete name of each member as image alt attribute values. It should be implemented in the next release but I have no ETA for it.
