    Hi,

I would like to ask how can I add alt tags to embedded gifs through this plugin?

The problem I have is that I am receiving warnings from Bing Search Console because of missing alt tags in these gifs.

    Thank you for your help!

    Hi @mclbdn,

We’re really sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. EmbedPress actually Embed links received from different providers and it doesn’t change anything while embedding.

Currently, we don’t have any option for adding ALT tag separately. But I’ll definitely discuss this with the team and solve this issue in the coming version.

Anyway, thanks for your feedback. I’ll inform you once fixed.

    Have a nice day!

    Hi again, @mclbdn,

We’ve tried to reproduce the issue on our end but seems like giphy.com’s gifs already embed with ALT text. Please check this out: https://d.pr/i/KxMQEf

    Thanks!

    Hello,

    thank you for your answer.

Anyway, I checked the gifs on my website and none of them unfortunately has an alt tag.

Maybe giphy.com is proving ALT text on same gifs, but definitely not on all.

If you want, I can provide you with a sample page.

Thank you and have a great day!
