    Hello,

This is very odd. We have made a new page here – https://www.smc-comms.com/products-smc/smc-gateway/lone-worker/

In the admin page, the “Custom Page Description” – Lone Worker Monitoring is an customisable application built using the SMC Gateway that will automatically check the wellbeing of radio users when they need it the most.

But when we search through google, we get this:

SMC Gateway – Lone Worker | South Midlands Communications Ltd
    https://www.smc-comms.com ? Products ? SMC Gateway
cologne_germany_industrial-work-with-personal-protective-equipment-04 Lone Worker Monitoring is an customisable application built using the SMC Gateway …

Theres an alt tag from a JPEG. I will change the alt tag code myself, BUT – The SEO Framework should overide the Custom Page Description either way, and not use the alt tag at all? Any ideas there would be helpful, thank you

    Hi Richard,

Search Engines do not always abide to the given data. This is because some queries lead to results not being shown in the Description field, but are being shown in (for example) the alt-tag.

This is also a(nother) good reason to start labeling the images correctly ??

If you wish to know if Google has correctly read the Title, Description, and Schema.org breadcrumbs data, you should use this Search Query:
    site:https://www.smc-comms.com/products-smc/smc-gateway/lone-worker/

From my end, all works well! If you however do encounter this issue again, and you suspect it’s because of The SEO Framework’s metadata, please do let me know.

I hope this clears things up! Cheers ??

    Hello Sybre,

In the end, i removed the alt tag altogether. Not perfect but it stops the wording.

    Thanks for the response! ??
