Ok, since I started my website ive been putting alt images and titles in wrong. I’ve been saving the image on photoshop with the exact title of the article, then putting the exact title of the article in the alt text section and the title section on yoast. Anyway, I need to go back to about 400 article and change it all so it’s correct. So my question is: If I upload my new image, with new title and new alt text, will it have any negative affect on seo/search ranking? I know that’s a stupid question, I just need to check before I dive into fixing these 400 articles. thank you all in advance! ??

    Hello @fetch44

Your question is a bit outside the scope of the support we provide. Giving SEO advice, in most cases, requires a deep analysis of your site to provide accurate advice for your specific setup, even for what may seem to be a simple question.

At Yoast, we want to help people improve their sites and to make SEO attainable for everyone. So we offer Yoast Academy courses which are included in our Yoast SEO Premium subscription, several great plugins, and a comprehensive SEO blog.

We understand that not everyone has the interest or time to learn SEO. Our main advice would be to check for a local SEO company and see if they can help. If you are using a web development agency, you could ask them, as most agencies have at least a basic understanding of SEO as well – the good ones do.
