    I am not able to enter Alt Text. The page freezes and reloads again.
    When I deactivated the plugin, everything was fine.
    I deleted the plugin and installed it again. Unfortunately, the issue came back.
    I am able to enter the text, but not the alt text

    1. I am Adding Media to my blog post
    2. Uploading Files (Image)
    3. Selecting File to upload
    4. Once the image is uploaded, I am entering the tile and right below there is a box for Alt Text
    5. I have no problem entering the title, yet when I select the Alt Text box, then the page freezes and my website reloads again

    When I deactivated the plugin, I had no problem with entering the Alt Text for the image.

    I was unable to replicate this issue. Are you using the latest version of Smush?
    Could you please inspect the page using dev tools https://developers.google.com/web/tools/chrome-devtools/ and see if there are any errors in the console when you repeat the steps above?

    I deleted the plugin again and re-installed it.
    I have version 2.7.9.1
    Unfortunately, the problem is not resolved.

    I am sorry but to use the dev tool link that you provided is way beyond my capabilities.

    I am happy to report that I switched to Firefox and it is all good now. My daughter said: how many times have I told you to start using Firefox?

    That’s great news!
    Just for reference what browser were you using when the issue was happening?

    I was using internet explorer.
