alt text for link images

  • I have some of my links only displayed as images my site under the “cool buttons” section of the menu. When you supply an image URI in the links manager, is there a way to include alt text for those images or do I need to hack into the index php and list them out manually?

  • I’ve always done it manually in the index.php file…why don’t you experiment with putting it in directly with the Link Manager and let us know your results? ??

    I guess it was kind of a dumb question. I just viewed the source and WP automatically puts the link name as the alt text for an image link. Whoops. I did do a search on topics before posting it, guess I should have looked at the code… ??
