Alt text for Page names

  • I admin a bilingual site and use the description field for adding English to my categories. This way on my front page I have Spanish categories and when you mouse over them you get the English translation for each category.

    Is there a way to get this sort of functionality for pages as well as categories? I am assuming it would be done with custom meta-data since pages do not have the description field but I have no clue where to start looking on this one. Any help you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated.

    I am using the (wonderful) premium news gazette theme if that makes a difference.
