I’m using the latest 1.4.4 version of the plugin. I was expecting that the alt text of the images would be populated taken from the Instagram post captions, per your plugin description. But the alt text is showing “Instagram post from @myinstragramhandle” for every image which is not helpful… I’m using the free version of the plugin. Is proper alt text a paid feature? I don’t see alt text on the compare list.

  • Hello

Can you please review this article to make sure you have all the options selected to show the captions (alt text). If things seem setup correctly, please email our support team at [email protected] and we can review why your site might not be showing things as expected.

Sorry, missed your response. There’s no checkbox for Caption. I’m using the free version. Does that mean that the alt attribute of the images can only get populated with the paid version? The images need a properly descriptive alt attribute to be compliant for accessibility.
