Alt text Not Showing on Live Site

    I have downloaded and installed the plugin and added alt-text against every image on in my media library. However, when I have visited the page the old alt text appears. I have cleared the SG Cache on the admin system and the browser cache. What am I missing? Do I need to do anything else to make them appear?

    Ah… I read that Divi may be the problem not allowing the image to read the alt text from the library if it is not put in at the time of the image being uploaded. That is rubbish! Any suggestions of ways around this now that I have entered 1000s of alt texts?

    Thank you for your patience on this. We have created the problematic scenario with the Divi theme and you are right, It’s the Divi theme that is not reading the updated image alt text from the media library when you updated the image alt text from WordPress Media Library.

    So, no issue with our plugin actually.

    To overcome this issue, we found the below workaround works perfectly.

    1. Refresh/reload the Divi page builder (Page Edit).
    2. Re-assign the images into your Divi module.
    3. Save the page and that’s all.
    4. You will get the updated alt text for your images.
