Having a problem with alt text not showing up. I’ve verified that the alt is correct in the media gallery, but when the page is rendered, the alt text is blank. I do use divi and stumbled across an old post that said re-save the page builder, but I am not using any page builders. I’ve also tried re-applying the image to the page and saving…with no luck.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @gymsfordogs,

Thank you for your interest in our plugin.
What we are offering at this moment is to edit/update the Image ALT tag, caption, and description with just a few clicks inside the WordPress Media Library. If your images are calling ALT tag dynamically from the media library, they should show up.

In your specific case, it looks like the images have a hardcoded alt text or hardcoded blank alt text assigned and there is no dynamic call happening to WordPress Media Library.

Though you are updating the image ALT tag in Media Library, if the image alt tag itself is hardcoded in your page or post where it is attached, the ALT tag is not going to update automatically for that specific image.

As you mentioned you have Divi theme and in case you are using the Divi page builder, they use their own field to insert the image ALT tag. And unfortunately, the Divi page builder doesn’t call image ALT text dynamically from the WordPress Media Library. So, it is not going to update automatically.

    Thank you
