alt text not showing up on images

    I am trying to get the alt text on images to be read (for seo purposes) on https://macrodiver.com – in the home page slider.

    This may be a nivo slider issue but I’m not sure… any suggestions would be helpful.

    The images in the slider are in a nextgen gallery and all have alt text.

    Hello,

    You should rather go through the mainstream media, add a picture, then by trying to change, add alt.
    Then add the image in nivo slider from the media …
    Then check to see if it displays the alt

    How did you build the slider? I assume this is a custom theme

    the theme had it’s origins as ‘responsive’. the slider was a plugin for nivo slider.

    Viamultimedia – thanks for the suggestion but i don’t think that’s possible because the slider is a plugin that uses a short code from the nextgen gallery.
