I’ve been using nextgen galleries for years. My website uses the wordpress Twenty Seventeen theme. For my galleries, when you open a thumbnail on the gallery page it opens a lightbox which shows the image with a description at the bottom. On my gallery management pages I have these description in the ALT & TITLE TEXT / DESCRIPTION field formatted in html. Up until now the descriptions have been formatted properly. But now the formatting is gone. There is no formatting of the text. For instance on the link to the gallery page I provide in this post, the first image on the gallery page, the top left thumbnail, the html formatting should look like the following but it doesn’t have this formatting. This is true of every gallery image now. Please, any help on how to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

    Title / Date
    TELOFLUX, 2024

Continuing my explorations of geometric forms in 3d that straddle both architecture and sculpture.
The title TELOFLUX derives from Telo from the Greek word Telos meaning complete, final, perfect and Flux referring to something that is not done, moving, flowing, changing, evolving. I like contradictions.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @areach,

    Sorry for the trouble,

It looks like there’s a bug in which certain characters and HTML is not parsed and not displayed properly on the lightbox mode.

A report has been created about this issue to notify our development team about it. I apologize for the inconvenience in the meantime.

As of now,?I can’t currently provide an ETA for when a fix will be released. However, I’m taking note of your query, and will make sure to send you an update after the fix for this issue is released.

    Thanks!
