altered sidebar (obar) of theme works on home, not on any other page?

Sorry if this has been addressed somewhere else, but I am bleary-eyed looking.

I altered a theme sidebar with graphics that contain links to another website. Everything works and looks great on the home page, but on all other pages, i.e archive pages, single posts, “about” page all the pictures are missing and the links are not found because they keep trying to find the links within the blog (wp) folder.

I have tried putting the graphics in every folder level and they are still missing, but with the links not working either, I have a feeling it’s some kind of “path” issue.

I would so appreciate if someone could help be resolve this issue. I am a bit over my head on this one. Thanks.
