altering a purchased site

    I’ve purchased a theme and want to make changes to a header and sidebar – is it worth asking for help here, and what is the solution if the developer doesn’t respond to emails??

  • If you purchased a theme normally support is provided. Here we have a hard time supporting a premium theme as we really don’t know what you have as far as functions, etc.

    Commercial themes are not generally supported here — though questions are often posted and sometimes answered, depending on the question and the theme. You can certainly post a question and see if anyone is able to and opts to answer it.

    If the developer does not respond to emails, that’s unfortunate, but there is nothing anyone here can do about that. It’s actually something that people really should look into before they spend money on a theme. If lack of support is a major issue, I’d suggest changing themes.
