Alternate Page Template (Theme)?

  • I have Vantage Premium theme on one of my sites. I am fairly new to WordPress, coming from a deeper background using Joomla. Find WordPress much better in most aspects.

    Anyway, I have a multisite installation that has about 88 subdomains, all using the Vantage (child) theme.

    For the “Home” page though I want the same exact look, except for a different menu.

    I have looked at some info and there are references to “alternate page template”, but I am not certain if this is the solution.

    I am hoping that the Vantage Premium can be modified (or addressed) to see an alternate template (theme?).

    Any help would be much appreciated.
