Alternating Background Images on Sidebar

  • Hi there –

    First off, thank you for creating such a fantastic theme – after hours of trawling through others I almost wept for joy when I found Seasonal!!

    I’m wondering is there a way to alternate the background image on the sidebar, depending on what page of the site you are viewing?

    I’m relatively new to WordPress so apologies if this is a silly question. I’m comfortable with CSS though, so if it can be done that way I should be able to manage, I’m just not sure where to look! …

    Really hope this is possible, it would be so awesome!

    Thank you Barry for the comment about Seasonal…also, no need to apologize because we all start at some point, and no question is considered silly ??

    As to your question about the sidebar images, unfortunately that is only available on the pro version of Seasonal. Although, you could change the sidebar backgrounds with different images, but you will need to create some custom CSS to achieve that by finding the page ID’s depending on the pages you want to do this to, and then target those pages with the images you want to use as the backgrounds.
