Alternative payment gateways

    Hello,
    I’m looking to purchase the Amelia plugin for WordPress but the payment gateways available that enable debit and credit card (stripe and woocommerce) are unavailable in my country (Saudi Arabia). thus, I’m wondering if it’s possible to add an alternative payment gateway plug-in on Amelia and if you have any recommendations. Secondly, are there other workarounds that would allow me to add a payment gateway that enables debit and credit card and Apple Pay etc for my costumers.

    Hello there.

    Thank you for reaching out to us.

    By looking at this topic from WooCommerce’s official support it seems they don’t block Saudi Arabia, but instead payment gateways (Stripe) do. So, as mentioned there, you could use Amelia with WooCommerce, but acquire a different payment plugin (add-on for WooCommerce) that supports your country.

    By Filtering Saudi Arabia on that page, we can see that PayPal (which is also available in Amelia) and Rapyd are available. Hopefully, one of those could work for you.

    Unfortunately, there’s no way to integrate any additional payment methods in Amelia without our developers developing that integration. Apple Pay is on our “To-Do” list, but we don’t have any ETA on that yet.
