Alternative to modifying .htaccess

    I just found out that my server does not allow .htaccess on their nginx server. They also don’t allow me to modify the nginx config file directly.

    Is there anything I can do to wp-config.php, or through PHP in my functions.php file, or through javascript in my theme location, to help Regenerate protection for my uploads folder?

  • Hello @blackawxs,

    As the host to add those rules if you can’t modify the nginx config, they should be able to easily update the file and should not pose a problem for them.
