Sorry, I sent an email to you about this through your Sending Service contact page, and then I realised it would probably be better to post it here.

I’ve just started a brand new blog and I don’t have any subscribers yet. Your Sending Service seems very reasonably priced, but it seems unnecessary for me just yet.

I see you recommend the free Sendgrid plan (https://docs.mailpoet.com/article/28-sendgrid) before you launched your Sending Service, but that no longer exists. Can you recommend an alternative free service that I could use until such time as I have a few hundred subscribers and can justify paying for the Sending Service?

I’m using sparkpost with great success.

Thanks for that! I see Mailgun, SendInBlue and a few others have free plans too. I’ll do a bit more research.

… or you could signup to MailPoet and encourage the development of your dear free plugin ??

Yes, that’s a good point. I’ve decided to just send email from my own website to begin with (I got a 10/10 score on your mail tester tool). But once I get up to say 100 subscribers, I’ll consider paying for the Sending Service. I like what you guys are doing and I do want to support you. I’ll leave a review too.
