Always a New Version

  • I am running 3.0 alpha just to test it out and when I go to the update part, it always always says there is a new version no matter how many times I upgrade. It’s not a big deal but I was just wondering if there was a reason for this or what?

  • Since it’s still in alpha stage, there are lots of bugs that are fixed every day. Once it’s actually released to the public, there will only be an update available when there’s a new point release, for instance 3.0.1.

    I have the Beta and mine never updates. It will say installing updates and I have let it run all night before and still will not update.

    This is also happening with me. I click on “Update Automatically” and it always says there is a new version. I’ve updated 10 times in a row, in a 2 minute period and even though it updates, it continues saying a newer version is available. The software is not registering that the newest update has been applied.
