Hi Guys, For about the last 6 months almost every time i have updated wp fastest cache none of my website load correctly and most of the websites are blank, i have to log into the back end of every website and click the delete cache option from your plugin settings, then the website works again.

Would you know why this happens or is there a time element, ie, if i update the plugin and my website is blank, if i wait a number of hours, will it work again without me having to log in and click delete cache.

I’ve only asking now as when i update the plugin, more and more customers now are saying their website is down, but when i log in and click delete cache, everything works again, thanks in advance guys… ??

do you have memory problem? are you sure that the memory is enough?

hi, i am not a technical person so would not know, if you let me know how i could check i can. I don’t have any other issues with any of my wordpress sites, i have 193 live sites, never any issues with plugins or themes so would assume memory limits are fine (only assuming). If it was a memory issue, what would you suggest my memory should be, and what type of memory (again, not technical) so i can check and would this make my issue happen? ie, having to login after every update to delete cache manually?

ps, is there a time limit also, ie, if i were to wait x number of hours, i wouldn’t have to login as it would delete the old cache at some point?

Thank you again in advance… ??

UPDATE! – Hi, i have just been doing some testing and it seems that just logging into the backend fixes the issue. I have just loaded up 10 websites on desktop nd mobile and most of the content is blank after updating wp fastest cache plugin, after just logging alone has now made all my website work again, but it was only after updating wp fastest cache, hope this helps, thank you… ??

it was only after updating wp fastest cache

what does it mean? update wp fastest cache plugin?

Hi, all my websites were working fine but there was an update available for wp fastest cache, once i updated the plugin, none of my sites worked, background images were showing and the logo and menu in the header, but nothing else was showing and the menu didn’t work, when i logged back into each website, the website worked again.

When i said update wp fastest cache plugin, i meant that there was an update available so i updated… ??

is the problem solved when you clear all cache?

Hi, i have just opened a site where the error occurs, cleared cache on the browser (chrome) and the website is the same, i then logged into the back-end and the website is still the same, i clicked “Clear All Cache” from the admin bar that wp fastest cache puts there and the website works again… ??

Here is a site where i have not logged into the backend yet so you can see what a site looks like… ??

I have 193 using wp fastest cache, at the moment the only websites that are having issues after an update are those built using the Divi theme by Elegant Themes… ??

    (@emrevona)

maybe the theme or a plugin clears minified sources so the design appears as broken.

i use the same plugins on all my sites, it’s only the sites i use divi on does this happen so i would assume it would be something to do with the divi theme and not a plugin… i’ll ping a support request to elegant themes, maybe they might throw something out there, i’ll post back here… ??

I’m not a techie at all, but having a look on the internet, on my divi themes i have a setting enables to minify js & css, these settings are also enables on the wp fastest cache plugin, cold this cause this and if not, would it be a good idea to disable them on the plugin as the divi theme already is enables for this? ??

    Plugin Author Emre Vona

    (@emrevona)

you need to disable the minify features on divi theme settings.

Hi, thank you for your help, would it be ok though to disable it on the plugin instead and leave it enabled on divi, this way i can keep better track of what is enabled and where, just better housekeeping for me? ??

actually you should not use more than one optimization tools.
