• Even immediately after updating translations, the admin says that translations are available. We don’t get any errors when updating, but can’t get that update notice to go away.

Our website is in English and we don’t have any other languages. We do use Loco Translate to “translate” (change) a few words for one of our plugins. We are storing the language file in languages/loco/plugins/woocommerce-wholesale-pricing-en_US.po

What is the problem? How can I fix it?

  • Is there enough free space in the hosting?
Is anything mentioned under Tools > Site Health as a possible problem?
What version of WordPress is being used?

    Plenty of space
    No Health issues
    WordPress 6.1.1

Could you try to deactivate all plugins? Possibly also change the theme? So you can exclude one of them as the cause.

I used troubleshooting mode to deactivate everything and then updated translations. It said it was successful and then I exited troubleshooting mode and I don’t have an update available notice right now. So, maybe it is working now, even though I am right back to the same setup I had.
