Always showing the same 4 results

    Hello,

    I think your plugin can be really good but right now I’m having an issue that I can’t really understand.

    Basically I’m relating my items by category and randomly, to be fair, on the page I linked the 4 results are related, however, it always shows the same 4 related items. When I increase to show 8, it’ll show 8 properly related items, but with every refresh, the same 8 items are shown.

    Any advice on how to increase the pool of related items, while maintaining only showing 4?

  • I have the same problem, in each product of a given category, the same 4
    related products are displayed, even though there are dozens to choose
    from in each category. Is it possible to make it so that each product
    shows different random products, and they don’t change upon refreshing?

    Currently, the Related Products for WooCommerce plugin does not provide the functionality to display random related products within the same category or tag upon a refresh when the Sort by option is set to Random. The plugin shows a fixed set of random related products within the same category or tag, which explains why you see the same items each time.

    However, we understand the importance of having dynamic related products, and we appreciate your feedback on this matter. We will explore the possibility of adding this feature in an upcoming release of the plugin after conducting the necessary feasibility studies.
