    Hi, thanks for the plugin, it’s great especially v.1.1

    I wanted to ask if there is a possibility that plugin can remember who turned off mining. I mean that with “Auto-start” turned on, after turning off mining on front-end and refreshing website or visiting another sub-page it turns on again. Can I set it to remember previous user action (as long as the cookie is valid)?

    Also if I could decide how much power of visitors computer I want to use to mine, it would be amazing ??

    Thanks for the great work !!!

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    I am already implementing the “remember” feature. Should be ready in v 1.2.0 later today.

    You can already define how much power of visitors computer you want to use to mine. It can be set using the “throttle” setting at “Settings > WP Monero Miner using Coin Hive”:

    A value of 0 means no throttling (i.e. full speed), a value of 0.5 means that threads will stay idle 50% of the time, with 0.8 they will stay idle 80% of the time.

    Just experiment with this value and look at cpu usage.

    Wow, that was pretty fast ?? Thanks for the reply.
    About the throttling I tried it (80% of power) but it still drained 96-100%. I guess I’ll try to experiment with lower values.

    Ok, I’ve tested it on 0,4 and now it uses about 80% of power according to Windows 10 control panel ??

    Maybe the description of throttle is a bit misleading. I will summarize here again:

    throttle=0
    The miner runs at full speed resulting in cpu usage ~100%

    throttle=0.5
    The miner runs at medium speed resulting in cpu usage ~50-60%

    throttle=0.9
    The miner runs at low speed resulting in cpu usage ~20%

    So the higher the throttle value the less cpu usage should occur.

    Try throttle=0.9 or maybe even 0.95 if you want low cpu usage.

    If you have found a good value for throttle please post it here as a guidance for other users.

    I did some testing and it looks like it depends on the operating system. Windows 10 and Mac os x have differences in about 5-10% of throttle – windows eats more CPU in my case. Most of the time throttle settings are quite accurate.

    Windows 10 – throttle=0.3 – 90% cpu usage
    Mac OS X – throttle=0.3 – 80% cpu usage
