AlxTabs widget Recent Comments, don't show author's reply

Hi,

Duplicate the widget codes and rename the widget class in your child theme.
Re-register the widget.

The widget is using get_comments function.

You should be able to use author__not_in parameter.

But I’m absolute noob in PHP/Wordpress/Web related stuff.
Please could you briefly explain or post some links where it explains how to “Re-register the widget” ?
And how to implement the author__not_in parameter in the new widget ?
