    Hello all,
Been doing ALOT of reading and research on starting a wordpress site, and how to get lots of traffic from google.

Four days I got the website up and running, with about 20 hits a day, with about 3 hits from google a day.
    My website: https://funnyfailblog.com

I am putting in alot of time and effort, but I decided I need to make sure im doing every thing correctly.
    1) I installed google XML generator, and submitted it to google.
    2) I installed “all in one SEO” with the following settings:
    Home Title: Funny Fail Blog
Home Description: Funny images and videos of Epic Fails.
Home Keywords (comma separated): funny, fail, blog, epic, images, videos.
    3) I added Tags to all my posts
    4) Its a Funny image site, so theres really no content, but I added ALT tags to all my images, and adjust the title, file name, and description of all.
    5) I submitted my website to all major search engines.

PLEASE tell me if i am starting out on the right path. Are my keywords correct? am I posting tags correctly?

    Thank You!

You are on the right path. Nothing really glaring with the exception of the keywords.

You will have a tough time gaining traction on those terms since they are very common. One thing you can do is focus on a sub-niche or two and try to rank for those. If you want to be extremely tactical, you can always do some keyword research; I use Google’s keyword tool.

    Awsome.

I had a feeling this was going to be a problem. Thanks for the reply!
