    hey mate

your plugin could be exactly what I am looking for. apologies for bothering you – after all this is a free plugin – but when I enter the sql query i’m getting an error:

#1064 – You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ” at line 1

The query that I entered (using myphpadmin) was this:

    ALTER TABLE wp_xxxxx CHANGE user_pass user_pass VARCHAR( 255 ) CHARACTER SET utf8 COLLATE utf8_general_ci NOT NULL DEFAULT ”

Although – assumed that wp_xxxxx was wp_users – I’m probably doing something stupid, can you spot what it is?

    cheers
