• Hello!

I’m trying to set a website up so the administrator has access to all the pages, but the editor can only see one specific page. (The site admin doesn’t want the editor to be able to change anything else on the site other than the editor’s own page.)

I installed UAM with no problems, created a group, set the Read and Write Access to “only group members,” set the Role Affiliation to Editor, pushed the buttons to Hide Complete Post and Hide Complete Page, verified that the editor was indeed added to the group… Then I went to a page on the site, checked the checkbox for the group in the new Access panel and updated the page.

Then I logged in as the editor and saw that absolutely nothing had changed – I could still see and edit every page in the site. I’ve changed various settings and whatnot, but nothing seems to make a difference. Does anyone have any idea what I may be doing incorrectly?

  • I am having the exact same issue.

I can’t figure out how to turn off the default ‘Full Access’ applied to all existing pages. Until I do, it seems that no matter what User Group is created and applied to a page, it won’t make a difference, because the pages have Full Access.

Does not make sense to me.
