    What’s the point of this plugin? What difference does it make whether I use the media manager or this to implement pictures into posts and pages? I get the whole third party thing but we can already link to 3rd party images right from the media manager, so I’m a bit confused as to what this plugin solves?

  • It makes it very simple to insert images from third party services into your posts and pages without leaving the WordPress media manager. Ofcourse you can do this manually yourself if you want but Uber Media makes the whole process integrated with WordPress.

    I was looking for a plugin that would allow me to upload files to wordpress, and then have them also appear on twitter, facebook, flickr and 500px.

    Do you have plans to add anything like this in the future?

    I already have some code that does this for a couple of sites and was thining of creating a plugin for it myself.

    But I hate reinventing the wheel.

    No I’m afraid Media Manager Plus is for inserting third party images into WordPress, not the other way round. We don’t have any plans for adding this kind of functionality in the future.
