Am new to Evolve Theme – Need guidance on links from home page

    I have just installed the Evolve theme and am not an expert on WordPress, so I need some guidance.

    1) Is a guide available for how to adjust the various components?

    2) On the Bootstrap Slide, each photo includes a “Read More” button. How do I add a link to another page within the site?

    3) Similar question re. the Front Page Content boxes — how do I add a link from the “Read More” or “Learn More” button on each box?

  • Head into your admin panel > appearance > theme options and you will see the options available for easily editing the theme

    Thanks for the quick response. I see the options, but have not found anything about how to add links to each of the buttons.
    Can you point me in the right direction?

    Am assuming that some code needs to be added to the button description window. Currently, a typical button is set as follows:

    Learn more

    My site is https://www.sw-associates.net

    Under front page content boxes you should see Content Box 1 Button, Content Box 2 Button, Content Box 3 Button and to change the link you would replace the “#” for the link that you were after. here is an example

    <a class="read-more btn" href="https://your-link-here">Button Name</a>

    Hi all,
    I think I am trying to do something similar. I want to have the “learn more” button link to a category (which is also on my menu). I have tried putting the URL into the code instead of the # but it still goes back to the # when I click the link on the website. How can I reference the category from the “learn more” button?
