  • I had the same problem and read that if you use an SVG file that it will scale better. I switched to an SVG file and it looks great.

I cannot save the photos as .svg??

I believe I used an open source drawing program called inkscape. If the original artwork is not SVG, you can try to load the highest resolution version of your artwork and save it as an SVG. I think I did that once and it scales much clearer still when used as a header graphic. Maybe someone else on the forum can help with other ideas, but my amateur understanding is that when the image is rendered bigger than the original artwork it gets blurry. SVG is a vector graphics format that will scale the image without bluring it.

Sorry – I just saw the site. I thought you meant the site logo.

The header image is a little blurry on my 1920×1080 becasue your image is 1405 x 449 and it is stretching it to screen size. Not sure what the solutions are other than to increase your header picture resolution. Maybe there is some CSS to limit the header width below screen size. It looks like you are using Elementor – did you look for a setting there?

I used the plugin Unique Headers instead.

Thanks – I’ll take a look. I can use that for another client. BTW, your gallery is beautiful!
