@nicoter As explained everywhere and in our giant v2 warning banner GDv2 that tells you that manual steps will be required as GDv2 is a huge change. It has the same and even better features but the templating system is completely different meaning there are manual steps required as this can’t be done automatically as every theme is different, this is explained.
1. There is a HUGE banner telling you manual steps will be required.
2. If you update by accident you can roll back to v1 with one button.
3. It states to try the update on a staging server.
4. GDv2 is optional at the moment, GDv1 is still supported.
I’m not sure what else we could do? If instructions are not followed and things break, i’m sure you must agree thats not worthy of a 1* review?
